A few crumbly mountains indeed !
The dolomites, mostly limestone, hardness factor between Mohs 3.5 and 4, hard enough to wear your kit out at a reasonable rate, not really friable but prone to water erosion. The dogs goolies would be the Tri Cime di Lavaredo, exposure to knock your socks off, don't see any of the indoor climbing wall tribe very often on these climbs, paradise, truly life enhancing, I know you cricketing types think it's better than sex, well try the Lavaredo.
So there.

Cilely would put you off, or at least the accent would.maltyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02936465848907794425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2526736757651414061.post-61234380123687955602009-01-31T12:58:00.000+00:002009-01-31T12:58:00.000+00:00And the sun's out here too - over to you, Cicely.....And the sun's out here too - over to you, Cicely...Nigehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13314891387515045404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2526736757651414061.post-24528697177547013372009-01-31T12:46:00.000+00:002009-01-31T12:46:00.000+00:00And thanks for that link Mark - he's goooood! And thanks for that link Mark - he's goooood!Nigehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13314891387515045404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2526736757651414061.post-85315895576930459602009-01-31T12:39:00.001+00:002009-01-31T12:39:00.001+00:00You're right Brit - tho if we weren't male we woul...You're right Brit - tho if we weren't male we wouldn't be mourning Bearders...Nigehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13314891387515045404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2526736757651414061.post-48768160878436705952009-01-31T12:39:00.000+00:002009-01-31T12:39:00.000+00:00Thanks for the photie / birdie / melody Nige, the ...Thanks for the photie / birdie / melody Nige, the latter had the neck hair standing, wonderfull.
