Jobs On The Line?

Poor Steve Jobs - he takes a bit of sick leave and Apple shares plunge. Is this rational? Heaven knows what would happen to NigeCorp (or Nigeness) if I did - I guess it would be all over, they'd be reduced to Corp and Ness. In fact, come to think, Apple could be reborn as Core...

    Yes this is sad news because it very likely means he isn't well at all. And still in his early fifties, he isn't very old either. Here's to a full recovery and a long life.

    From The Jam? Good grief - for myself I wouldn't go to the end of the road to see any re-formed band, let alone a version without the talent. Odd isn't it, rock's endless capacity to generate nostalgia? I thought it was supposed to put an end to such things - but then we were all supposed to die before we got old...

    Today, I went to the beachfront with my children.
    I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell
    to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
