Sad News

This is sad news for some of us (if entirely incomprehensible to the rest). Test Match Special, when it is on form, is one of the glories of British broadcasting - even of British life - and for years Frindall did his indefatigable bit to make it so.

    I felt the urge to post an RIP. God knows to what end, except to record the fact that I find this news unreasonably horrible.

    Partly it's because he is irreplaceable - they always say that but Bearders really is.

    But thinking about it, it must because TMS seems permanent in a way that few things do. Turns out it isn't, because nothing is.
