Another Failed Artist

Wouldn't you know it? Radovan Karadzic, the war criminal suddenly located in Belgrade, was a thwarted poet. His Serbian epic poetry failed to find a publisher, fuelling his sense of being persecuted and misunderstood. Scratch a tyrant and you'll find a failed artist? Sadly, it rather often seems to be the case. If only Hitler had made a success of his painting...
More surprisingly perhaps (though psychologists do tend to be mad), Karadzic was also a qualified psychiatrist, and was at one time team psychologist to Red Star Belgrade FC. Nothing like a psychopath to motivate the lads.

  1. Tsk, tsk, the things you have to do to get arrested in Serbia these days. The Times online has "Karadzic evaded capture disguised as alternative therapist" which helpfully implies that all alternative therapists sport huge false beards and are on the run from something or someone. Careful with that aromatherapy, Eugene!

  2. We now really need to worry, this means Serbia can become a member of the European union, increasing total Kalashnikov ownership within the EEU by 800000, elberry however will be overjoyed as it will increase his chances of victory in the forthcoming invasion of Russia. Don't forget Nige & selena, Alp d'huez tomorrow, take a sickie.

  4. Cheney is said to be a dreadful playwright. And Bush a thwarted demagogue. And Blair a poor stager of Japanese drama.
So they gained their vengrance on teh world by indulging in mass murder. Oh well. As long as they're happy.
