You make him sound almost interesting. With Brown in charge, the world will all end in a whimper, a yawn, a grand indifference because we're all so bloody bored with our politicians.

ReplyDeleteAnyhoo, must away, world crisis to sort, new tax rates to work out, the bankers need to lick my backside again, ta ta for now.
I see them rather as the prophets in Life of Brian. There they all are, standing on their pillars and ranting, while everyone else gets on with life, occasionally awarding them points for a piece of outstanding nonsense, and generally thanking the stars that one hasn't gone soft in the head to the point of being reduced to earning one's living as a prophet. What a fate! I can't see that this has much to do with elephants which are noble beasts - stoic, implacable, highly intelligent and never forlorn. Broon is something more furtive and hairy, with a burrow.
